DESCRIPTION:The Peter Kenyon Bowl is a competition played in the week of th
 e Halford Hewitt competition. It is a foursomes competition open to member
 s of any school society represented in the Hewitt\, and is to be played th
 is year at Prince's GC\, Sandwich\, either on Wednesday 10th April or Thur
 sday 11th April (ie before the Hewitt Plate competition starts at Prince's
  on the Friday).\n\nThe Thompson Tankards foursomes event (open only to OW
 GS members) will be run as part of the Peter Kenyon Bowl\, but only on Wed
 nesday 10th April (tee times will be reserved and made available to OWs). 
 OWGS members playing on Thursday 11th April will not qualify to win the Th
 ompson Tankards. Those entering the Thompson Tankards should pay their ent
 ry fee online to OWGS on the website\, not to the Prince's pro shop.\n\nTh
 ose planning to play on the 11th will have to book their own tee times wit
 h the Prince's Pro Shop and pay them separately. \n\nSee https://www.halfo

 ed to enter. There is a charge of £50 pp (£100 per pair). You may either
  find your own partner (who must also be a member of the society) or if yo
 u express your interest below\, we will endeavour to put members together 
 as pairs. Handicaps are allowed\; these are calculated as 50% of the pair'
 s combined course handicap\, but with a maximum allowance of 18. So a 12 h
 andicapper\, playing with a 26 handicapper\, would be allowed 18 shots\, n
 ot 19.\n\nNote - in 2024 there is a celebration cocktail party held at Roy
 al Cinque Ports GC on the evening before the Halford Hewitt starts\, ie on
  Wednesday 10th April. This is to mark the centenary of the Halford Hewitt
 . Players in the Peter Kenyon Bowl may like to bear this in mind\, and att
