The Peter Kenyon Bowl is a competition played in the week of the Halford Hewitt competition. It is a foursomes competition open to members of any school society represented in the Hewitt, and is to be played this year at Prince’s GC, Sandwich, either on Wednesday 8th April or Thursday 9th April (ie before the Hewitt Plate competition starts at Prince’s on the Friday).
The Thompson Tankards foursomes event (open only to OWGS members) will be run as part of the Peter Kenyon Bowl, but only on Thursday 9th April (tee times will be reserved and made available to OWs). OWGS members playing on Wednesday 8th April will not qualify to win the Thompson Tankards. Those entering the Thompson Tankards should pay their entry fee to OWGS (see Thompson Tankards event).
Those planning to play on the 8th will have to book their own tee times with the Prince’s Pro Shop and pay them separately. You cannot enter using this website.

Any member of the OWGS is entitled to enter. There is a charge of £55pp (£110 per pair). You may either find your own partner (who must also be a member of the society) or if you write to the Secretary (Peter Gale), he may know of other members in search of a partner. Handicaps are allowed; these are calculated as 50% of the pair’s combined course handicap, but with a maximum allowance of 18. So a 12 handicapper, playing with a 26 handicapper, would be allowed 18 shots, not 19.
